FINALMENTE SI RIPARTE

Ciaoooo Amici!!!

Ecco è giunto il momento di ripartire per una nuova avventura, tra qualche giorno, precisamente martedì 08 aprile, partiremo da Malpensa con destinazione Kathmandu.
Insieme a me partirà il mio grandissimo amico Fiorenzo Dadò, mentre Carlo quest'anno purtroppo non sarà con noi...

La nostra destinazione finale sarà il Dhaulagiri ( montagna bianca ), con la vetta principale alta 8.167 m, settima montagna più alta della Terra. Il trekking di avvicinamento al c.b., situato a 4700 m ai piedi della parete “Eiger” a nord ovest del “Monte Bianco” del Nepal, durerà circa otto giorni, durante i quali risaliremo la valle del Myagdi Khola. Una volta raggiunto il campo base cercheremo di salire lungo la cresta nord-est o via dei primi salitori, la cosiddetta “via normale”. Si tratta di una via impegnativa a causa del dislivello complessivo, che si avvicina ai 3500 metri in salita, oltre alle difficoltà tecniche dell’ultima parte, che richiedono buone conoscenze di progressione su terreno misto e ghiaccio in alta quota.
Ci saranno da preparare 3 campi alti e precisamente il Campo 1 a circa a 5800 m, il Campo 2 a circa 6700 m e il Campo 3 a circa 7200 m.

Tutto è pronto quindi non ci resta solo che aspettare martedì.....

Here now is the time to start a new adventure in a few days , precisely Tuesday 08 April, we will depart from Malpensa to Kathmandu.
With me will come my great friend Fiorenzo Dadò , while Carlo this year , unfortunately, will not be with us ...


Our final destination will be the Dhaulagiri ( White Mountain ) , with the bigger summit  8,167 meters high , the seventh highest mountain on Earth. The  trekking to base camp , located at 4700 m under the wall " Eiger " northwest of the " Mont Blanc " of Nepal, will last about eight days , during which travel up the valley of the Myagdi Khola. Once you reach the base camp we will climb along the ridge north -east or by the first climbers , the so-called "normal way " . This is a challenging way because of the difference in height , which is close to 3500 meters uphill, in addition to the technical difficulties of the last part , which require a good knowledge of the progression of ice and mixed terrain at high altitude.
There will be 3 high camps that we must prepare and exactly the Camp 1 at about 5800 m, the Camp 2 at about 6700 m and the Camp 3 at about 7200 m .

Everything is ready so we just have to wait only Tuesday .....
